Retail/lifestyle brand in downtown Boston is looking for a talented, mechanical mid-level Production Artist / Photo Retoucher for a long-term/on-site contract engagement. The ideal individual is someone who appreciates and thrives on both the mechanical production design process as well as image manipulation.
Projects include all social media visuals (FB, Instagram, Twitter), some print campaigns, website and e-com panels using styled templates. Ideal creative individual will be someone who can deliver excellent quality images, has an understanding of the retouching process really well and the experience following brand/creative guidelines.
You will work collaboratively within the creative team to translate concepts, expand/evolve creative directions into polished production ready files. There will be some projects where you can jump in and develop concepts into visual solutions.
Qualifications
Design Degree
2+ years of Design Studio or Internal Agency experience
2+ years expertise in image manipulation
Photography experience preferred.
A solid portfolio, showing a strong sense of retouching, layout and typography in both digital and print
Ability to work along side and take direction
Must be detailed oriented and work well handling multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
Advanced in the Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Exceptional interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem solving skills
